When we moved to Greeley 6 years ago, we began looking for a preschool that matched all my high “former preschool teacher” expectations. After our first tour of SonShine we felt instantly at ease. Each teacher was enthusiastic, loving and showed us that our child was important as an individual in the class. We have since seen 2 of our children though SonShine and our third is attending this year. They have learned so much in addition to ABC’s and 123’s. They made friendships, grew strong foundations for kindergarten, and a great love of Jesus was shared with them. We can’t thank them enough for such an impactful experience, they really have become family.

We have loved our time with SonShine Preschool! Over the course of our 6 years, with three children, we have watched routines become habit and learning a joy! The integration of bible stories and principles into the daily lessons was an important part of the preschool journey. We are beyond happy to have sent our girls to SonShine Preschool!

There are not enough superlatives left to describe SonShine Preschool. The school year 2020-2021 has been full of challenges-all of which were met with creativity and grace by the teachers at this wonderful preschool. My grandson had never attended preschool before, or been with a babysitter other than me. He fell totally in love with his teachers Miss Kim and Miss Corey in the Pre-K class! The COVID isolation became a rewarding year of new friends and joyful learning. He looked forward to every day; he was smiling and bouncing into class when I dropped him off and bursting with stories and hugs when I picked him up. As a mother of four and grandmother of eight, I know a gem when I find one! Christian principles are the foundation and committed teachers do the rest. He could not possibly be better prepared for success in kindergarten.

My daughter absolutely loved going to preschool here she still talks about it to this day and she is going into 1st grade! The teachers are amazing and they really get the kids ready for kindergarten!!

Mrs. Mala and the Sonshine Preschool staff have been amazing! Not only is the curriculum praise worthy, but the emotional connection that can be seen between Mrs. Mala and her students is genuine and sincerely impressive. Our daughter, while not quite shy, has always been a bit wary of large groups of kids--yet Mrs. Mala has guided her through her first year of preschool fears by strengthening her intelligence as well as her courage and social skills. We could not ask for a better teacher for our daughter and are excited for Pre-K next fall!

Sonshine Preschool is AMAZING! Mrs. Mala seems to have unlimited patience and is such a great teacher. I love how she teaches the alphabet - my 5-year-old son is learning so much! This is his second year at Sonshine Preschool. He loves how there is lots of singing which helps him remember things he's learned. Mrs. Mala recently told me (during a craft time with the kids when I was volunteering): "It's the process, not the product." She is so good at letting the kids express their creativity as they learn how to write, color, use scissors, glue, etc. I also appreciate how there is routine every day. It makes my son feel secure to know what to expect. We have two younger boys that we will also send to Sonshine Preschool over the next couple of years. Our family HIGHLY recommends this preschool. :)

What a delightful place to be for any child. Mrs. Mala is the perfect preschool teacher. She is patient and kind while keeping the atmosphere calm and geared towards learning . She finds a way to incorporate song into almost everything while teaching the children and getting them ready for kindergarten . I wouldn't want my child anywhere else but the SonShine Preschool with Mrs. Mala.

My daughter is our one and only child so when it came time for Pre-k we were extremely nervous about her going to "school" but Mrs. Mala was amazing at making us feel comfortable with it as for our daughter also, but It was the best decision we have ever made putting her in at Sonshine Preschool because she has learned how to read/ write her name and other words she is teaching others about the bible, and she has confidence! I couldn't have asked for a better teacher to start my child on her journey in life away from us and into school years.

I was extremely impressed on how much my daughter learned this year. My family and I were every amazed to see her sounding out latters, talking and telling everyone about the bible stories Mrs.Mala shared with the childern.The quality time Mrs.Mala would spend with each child was also amazing to see.My daughter was so happy with her school she tells me to take her baby brother, I really like Mrs.Mala ways of teaching I will be sending me son as well as my niece she is now 3yr.old to sunshine!!! :)

I was extremely impressed with how much my daughter learned while attending Sonshine preschool. From letter sounds, to sight words, math, geography, and even Bible stories, the curriculum covered it all! The structure of the class has also prepared my daughter for Kindergarten - we will surely send our next child to Mala at Sonshine!!

My son has been taught by Mrs. Mala first at her home daycare, then spent the last year at Sonshine preschool. The time my son spent at this preschool has been amazing! Mrs. Mala spends quality time with each child and makes them feel so special. She is a wonderful example of Christ's love. You cannot ask for better teacher or a better preschool! We wish Mrs Mala taught kindgarden so we didn't have to leave her! Thank you Mrs. Mala for investing such time and care into Noah! We love and appreciate you!!
